Course                                 

We have 4 levels to complete all the designs we use for our top flight clients.  When working in western countries efficiency and accuracy of the task being carried out is essential to reduce overheads.  In Thailand, where labour is much cheaper, several carvers are often hired for a single event.  Cost overheads seldom allow more than 1 carver here.  To compensate for this differential, it is necessary to choose the most effective and distinctive designs for display that can the produced in the shortest possible time frame.  We will show you how to choose the most suitable designs and how to carve them in the shortest possible time.  We guarantee that each student will master the technique of fruit carving within a 1-day course and be capable of presenting Thai dishes to a standard they did not think possible.  They will take all their work home.

The various courses include –



Level 1: Students will learn general fruit and vegetable carving.

  • Approximately 7 interesting designs sufficient for display from a 1-day training course.
  • Tuition on food presentation in various style.
  • Instruction on how to present a center piece for a buffet or special banquet.
  • Advice on the use of traditional specialist decorative components such as banana leaves, Thai orchids.
  • Full learning support throughout the training.
  • We guarantee you will achieve best results from day 1. Lessons are organised to ensure full use of the hours allocated.

 


Level 2: More complex designs expanded from level 1.



Level 3: More advanced work and designs from level 2 and additional work on finesse and improvement on execution of various cuts.



Level 4: Advanced fruit and vegetable carving and food presentation. You will carve a variety of letters and styles for special event and we will impart the secrets of high neat and efficient speed carving of the letters.
